Having a Successful Surgery
Surgery is often a fear-evoking possibility for anyone. No matter how minor the procedure is to the doctor, it is always a major procedure to the patient. In our office we take time to present all conservative and surgical options that will work and allow ample time for the patient to consider any surgical procedure. If there is an urgency, such as an injury or limb threatening infection, we will explain that to you, but ultimately the timing is yours to decide. All risks and benefits are thoroughly explained, and care is given that all questions are answered. Additionally, we take the time to consult with your primary care physician and other providers to ensure that you are medically prepared for the procedure. We will have videos coming up that will highlight tips for successful surgical outcomes, and more about the decision to go to surgery. Stay tuned.
